| Description: | Environmental Compliance Services, Inc., (ECS) is a dynamic company comprising approximately 180 professionals with offices throughout New England, Ohio, North Carolina, and Florida. Our Eclipse division, a high-energy environmental services group specializing in petroleum UST Compliance Services, is seeking full time Field Technicians for the Agawam, Worcester and Woburn, MA and Middletown, CT, Providence, RI and Nashua, NH regions.
Eclipse is an innovative service line that encompasses such items as total fuel systems management with integrated remote accessing, Automatic Inventory Reconciliation (AIR), 24/7 Emergency Spill response and notification systems, and immediate access to compliance documentation, all of which can be tailored to the specific needs of the clients.
The individuals selected for these positions will be assigned a company vehicle to perform routine inspections and evaluations of components involved in the total fuel systems management equipment at gas stations/convenience stores, including dispensers, electronic testing and monitoring devices, spill bucket installation and repair, installation and O&M of systems components. Close interaction with clients and the general public at site locations are required.
Good organizational and multi-tasking skills are needed. The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, as well as analytical thought processes is a must. Technical understanding and insight in the field is a plus. We are seeking an independent, self-starter who is willing to learn the system from the ground up but will quickly be able to function without supervision.
Mechanical aptitude is required. Candidate must be able to meet physical qualifications for the job, including lifting up to 125 lbs with some assistance. Daily travel to site locations is required. Must be able to pass the company�s Driver Safety Policy requirements, a pre-employment physical/drug screen and a criminal background and driving record check. Must have a valid driver license in good standing. Flexible schedules are available.
