| Description: | Environmental Compliance Services, Inc., (ECS) is a dynamic company comprising approximately 180 professionals with offices throughout New England, Ohio, North Carolina, and Florida. ECS is seeking a full-time Project Manager in our Branford, CT location.
The successful candidate has a minimum BS/BA in Geology, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or other related degree program plus 5-10 years experience in coordinating and managing subsurface site characterization, soil and groundwater remediation, and groundwater monitoring programs on a regional, multi-site portfolio. Project work includes preparation of reports and remedial action plans associated with petroleum or hazardous substances releases on retail petroleum and bulk storage facility sites, as well as oversight and management of field staff and other trades in conjunction with supervisory responsibilities. Candidate should have a strong working knowledge of the Connecticut RSRs.
The candidate must have excellent verbal and writing communication skills and ablity to disseminate information accurately and in a timely manner to clientele and project team members. Must be able to provide technical expertise in review of reports for regulatory submittal.
The candidate will be responsible for staff management including mentoring, supervision and staff performance evaluations, including periodic reviews and corrective action. This individual must have a strong technical background, excellent organization, communication and personnel management skills, the ability to work under deadlines, computer proficiency, initial 40-Hour HAZWOPER and 8-Hour refresher course certification. This position will require travel to various CT project locations. Candidate must be able to successfully pass the company�s Driver Safety Policy requirements, as well as a pre-employment physical/drug screen and criminal background/driving record check. Must have a valid driver license in good standing. Salary is commensurate with experience and education.
